Education Programs for Teachers
Graduate Courses for Teachers
Each year the Broward chapter awards scholarships to Broward teachers covering tuition and expenses to attend the Graduate Courses for Teachers programs. However, the courses are open to all interested teachers.
Every summer, Freedoms Foundation provides accredited educational programs that enable teachers to return to their classrooms with a deeper understanding of our nation and history.
These programs, taught by noted historians and faculty from leading institutions, give teachers the opportunity to continue their professional development in the areas of American history and contemporary issues pertaining to the American political process.
Past programs have included:
 • The American Revolution
 • The Civil War
 • Heritage of Past United States Presidents
 • The American Presidency
 • Terrorism
 • The Judiciary
 • The Congress

Cultivating Excellence in Education
We, as teachers, have the opportunity and mandate to teach our children about our amazing history through knowledge and example.... Thank you for the incredible experience to increase my knowledge of our nation's history to share with my colleagues and students.

An outstanding learning and enrichment experience. I am looking forward to bringing this first-hand knowledge back to my classroom and sharing it with my students.
