| If you want to make a difference in our community, become a Freedoms Foundation volunteer. For nearly 60 years, the Freedoms Foundation and its nationwide network of volunteer chapters have brought the message of engaged citizenship and leadership to hundreds of thousands of Americans, from students to teachers to ordinary citizens. We encourage you to join us to help promote these ideas and values that are the foundation of our national heritage. |
| The Broward County chapter and its volunteers serve as the primary ambassadors and representatives of Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge in our Broward County community. |
| Our activities and responsibilities include: | |
| • | Conducting projects that raise awareness of the importance of engaged citizenship. |
| • | Planning awards programs to recognize outstanding civic achievements in leadership, volunteerism, patriotism, and community service. |
| • | Sponsoring school programs, guest speakers, and living history events. |
| • | Organizing fundraising events to provide scholarships for local students and teachers to attend educational programs at the Foundation's Valley Forge campus. |

| Support Freedoms Foundation, the Broward County chapter, and our mission by making a tax deductible donation. While donations of any size are important, please consider supporting a scholarship to send a Broward County high school student to our American Leaders Youth Summit at Valley Forge. |
| With a $1,000 donation, you can give a scholarship for a Broward student to attend the American Leaders Youth Summit at Valley Forge. Your gift goes forward to give a future leader an awareness of what built this country — America's history and heritage — responsible citizenship and the free enterprise system. |
| Gifts of $5,000 and greater are recognized in perpetuity by adding the donor's name to the Scroll of Honor. |

| Remembrance Fund... |
| The chapter maintains a special fund established to provide a way to express sympathy of a lost loved one or special friend. It may also be a means to express admiration or to say thanks for a patriotic acquaintance. An appropriate notice is sent to the bereaved or named recipient, with an acknowledgement to the donor. Our newsletter publishes the notice of all remembrance gifts unless otherwise requested not to do so. |
