2007 National Awards Luncheon

By going into this conference it opened my eyes to new political issues, and made me realize that I too, can make a difference by speaking up. The open debates and making amendments were my favorite. I loved hearing everyone's opinions on the issues and working together.

The best part of the conference for me was listening to Dan speak. It was just unbelievably awesome to just be in the audience and hear the words he was speaking. I just remember that it really impacted me at the time and that's one of the things I remember the most. He's a really awesome speaker.
