| Children's Aid Club is a group of women who volunteer their time to make a difference in the lives of people in Broward County who are facing a variety of hardships. The club, founded in 1955, provides food and clothing to needy families, helps struggling families with household bills, and provides newborn layettes every month to the Children's Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Fort Lauderdale. Individual cases are handled on an immediate, as needed, basis. They help families with disabled children to get medical equipment and to enroll in special education programs.
